Don't get me wrong czar, Johnson Central is tough, possibly better than last year. It would definetly be a slober knocker if they met in a regular season game. But believe me, the antmal or whomever posted negative on Bell is a Bell wana be. They want schedule Bell anymore, and for good reason. Bell would be at least a 60 point favorite this year, 75 the following and possibly 125 point favorite the next. Good luck to you JC you have a facility that is as nice as any we have seen, Including U.K.

I'm sick of hearing about Mboro not wanting to play Bell.We want to play them.

Bell is overrated.I heard this team was suppose be the best team they had in year's.:lol:Nelson was the backbone of the team,This team they have now Mboro beat them.

Just a couple of observations. Bell did come out flat....BUT they had 25 minutes from the time they arrived until they started! They did not have adequate time to warmup and prepare after that long, hot bus ride. That's why they came out flat and let JC have a couple of quick "big plays." Once they got into things it changed. Another factor was that Matt Simpson sat out due to recovering from previous injury. Matt is 4-yr. starter at LB and the heart of their run prevent defense. They truly missed Simpson. He should be ready for season. Bell's team approached this as a "scrimmage" while I believe JC looked at it more as a game. At least it seems their fans did. Great time was had by all. Pretty even...just like last year. I used to take a lot of grief for our Cowboy preseason record. We lost most of them...BUT we were ready when season came...and were the "last team standing" at the end of the season. Don't be surprised if this Bell team doesn't do just that.

I completely agree. This is in no way any reason for Bell Co. fans, or Bell Co. haters to think that this team is in any kind of early trouble at all, as I have stated earlier, its a scrimmage, we wont see what both teams have. The exact same talk was coming from Middlesboro fans a few years back, our first year without Shawn Robbins when we scrimmaged Harlan Ind. in the Grid game, and won 14-7, and of course made our usual deep run into the playoffs. I would love to see Bell-Middlesboro this year, I think it'd be a great game, no 60 point blowout, as was the last two Bell-Middlesboro meetings:sssh: But a fun one to watch. Also, I'm interested to see how Zachery did at QB, any word from anyone?

Aren't you the same one who said Corbin would beat Bell bad in baseball in the region? The group of seniors at Bell Co. have won at everything they have done. Nelson was a nice playe, but Bell definitly has the talent to move forward and will be fine. The idea of Middlesboro playing with Bell Co. is laughable IMO, let alone beating them.

Bell was the second best team in 4A last year (2nd to Lex. Cath.), and only lost a handful of players. M'boro has a fine program, but there is absolutely no way they could play with Bell.

I'm not disputing the fact that SOME of the JV were on the field during the beginning of the fourth Quarter for both Bell and JC, as a matter of fact it was a Freshman for Bell, #23 that moved the ball down the field before Raines ran the ball in for the TD, and the same Freshman that made the 2pts, so I know the entire V wasn't on the field for either:ylsuper: team, but I heard the call from the coach for the 2nd D during this run by Bell's freshman, as a matter of fact, it was after the 42 yd run by #23 to be exact when the call was made for the full 2nd D, so all I'm saying is that Not the entire 2nd D was on the field the entire 4th Quarter. Not trying to take anything away from JC for the fact is they looked very impressive and obviously took this more serious Bell but the "JV the entire 4th Quarter" is not totally accurate and keeping an eye out for the Cats just as you are doing the same. Yes, I am the one who made that comment, but that was if Greer pitched. And what does this have to do with football? I'm the same one that grew up in the era of the Bengals and the Big Red Machine and to make comments that I know nothing about football or baseball is ridiculous. I played against the likes of Moller, Princeton, and went to high school with a hall-of-famer; Cris Carter. I have personally talked to Pete Rose, Johnny Bench, and Joe Morgan. I remember a few years back Bell wanted to scrimmage Moller, what a joke. You guys would have been crushed. They are true power-house teams. Just wait until some of the inner-city enrollment schools, like yourself, get a taste of your own medicine. Weren't you guys moaning and groaning just last year when Lexington Catholic came to town. The same group of these kids from Middlesboro had defeated Bell Co. in the regular season game, then beat us in a championship. So to say that we have no chance, I guess you guys are just superior over everybody.
