August 14, 200818 yr I visited family in the Walton area this past weekend. I really like that whole Newport/Campbell County area. I have a cousin that taught in the Campbell County system and is retired now. Congrats GT!
August 14, 200818 yr My buddy just sold his historic home on Overton in Newport. Divorce situation and whoever bought it got a great deal. I think he sold it for almost what he paid for it 3 yrs ago. Yellow brick, 3 story, very nice interior all rehabbed. He was just glad to get it sold and move on. Newport has a very nice historic area and there are several homes for sale in that neighborhood. Congrats on the new home. Dont forget about little holes in the wall like Mary Lou's Tavern down there in the East end for happy hour. Nice folks and Jim will take care of you.
