August 11, 200818 yr Another poster is also reporting that Newton's dad said that Mossakowski committing to UK actually helps their chances of landing Morgan. Apparently he wants to join a strong group of QB's. I'm hearing Jaz and Isadore are soon to be on board. I think it is either UK or Kansas for Jaz.... his latest finalists also includes Colorado and Oregon. I haven't heard much from him in regards to Colorado. He came to watch UK practice for two days and then visited KU. I havent heard much out of Jayhawk Camp after his visit which is a good sign. Oregon, I feel, is more or less in his finalists because of the name. I feel Isadore is a little more wide open right now and probably will make another trim to his list. Right now it is ASU, Kansas, UK, and TCU... I expect Isadore to eliminate one of those schools and then finish out his visits. I like UK's chances as good as anyone but it is too close to call from what I have heard. he said he might make a decision ebfore his official visits, but I dont see that happening.

August 12, 200818 yr Author Reynolds didn't take long to verbal to the Sooners after receiving the offer from them..Congrats to him. Growing up in Big XII Country, I'm sure it was too good for him to pass on. I really believe he would have been a Cat had the Sooners not offered...Can't land them all though.
August 12, 200818 yr Man, first Moss and now Sam, what we ever gonna do? UK has got to keep homegrown talent in town. Simpson was rated #2 C and Rivals has him as the #9 C in the nation. Its a start. Still have some holes to plug, but this class is shaping up very very nicely. Bottom line, they still have a long ways to go to crack top 8-10 classes in the SEC. Give Chuck Smith credit, he got one.
