Obama is bi-racial, not black or white. Race should not be an issue since he is a mixture of both. Therefore, both races should feel good voting for him if their only issue is race itself. I just wish he would acknowledge that he is bi-racial and be proud of it. But to answer the question of "what is Obama afraid of", I don't think he is afraid of McSame (opps McCain). He is very intelligent, resourceful and could hold his own against McCain. I think we will actually see the youngster put it on the senior citizen when the debates begin.

I think the debates may actually hurt McCain. The few times that I heard him speaking during the primary caused me to look more favorably at his opponents.

That is what I said. Obama will come across much better on television debates than McCain.

He has shown that off the cuff he has issues. That's why he won't agree to the proposed town hall type debates because he won't have any idea what might be asked of him.

That is not the town hall type of meetings they have. Doesn't the person have to submit questions beforehand in those type of meetings?
