Hope he plays with Tampa Bay, however my gut feeling Favre's career is over.

I'm going to be one fired up puppy along with Swamp Rat if he goes to the Bucs! The next question is what do you do with Garcia? That's pretty tough to win your confrence, finally understand the playbook then get benched. I wish the Bucs could work out a 3 way trade to get Roy Williams from the Lions if they get Farve.

Garcia in Minny:)

I doubt the Packers will be interested in helping the Vikings in any way...

The most obvious choice is Tampa. 2nd would be the Jets. 3rd would be stay home and

4th Green Bay. It's not rocket science. The Packers don't want to flinch but they have no choice. They can't bring him to Green Bay and not start him. They can't let the Vikings get him or the Bears. My opinion is Bucs or nothing. He agreed to give them until around Tues or Wed to make a decision. That points all signs to Tampa/NY or a lot of trouble by Wed. I don't think he's going to just stay home myself. People talk about feeling bad for Rodgers, how do you think Garcia feels.

Garcia should be used to it...he's always been underappreciated.

He will be traded to the Bucs by Wednesday for a 4th round pick and either Griese or Simms. You heard it here first... :sssh:

Still waiting....;)

Still waiting....;)

The team president going out there last night threw a kink in things. Looks like Principal Belding is going to take another day to reinstate him...

The pressure is all over the Packers right now. Farve gave them a few days so now they are going to have to show their cards. I was suprised Godell didn't reinstate him right before the 4:00 deadline today. That would have given the Packers until 4:00 tomorrow to make their move. Instead he bought the Packers more time. Good move I guess to buy a little time but I really think he is overstepping his boudries a little. I mean it is pretty simple. You want him or you don't. You make your move and live with it. If you want him then bring him in and move Rodgers. You have Brohm there now to develope. If you don't want him then trade him and get something out of him. If you told me the day after the draft that I could have a good draft pick for nothin then I'd take it. That's where they are. If they drop him and he goes to the Vikings then they will all be fired. 1st game of the year Vikings at Green Bay where they are retiring his jersey! If he led the Vikings to the super bowl then they would never live it down! I'd try to move him to the AFC and be done with it. I still think he will end up a Buc though. He's got guys in Green Bay like Driver and Woodson lobbying for him there. What is getting overshadowed in Green Bay is that Ryan Grant isn't in camp. They need him IMO.

Couldnt agree more. Favre or get off the pot Packers

The guys on NFL Radio said just a few minutes ago that the Packers were considering the possibility of trading Favre to Chicago or Minnesota. They either said the Packers had started talking about that internally or they had actually made preliminary contact with those teams...

Things just got a whole lot more interesting. Jeff Garcia was injured this morning and carted from the Bucs practice field.

^Rick Stroud from the St. Petersburg Times who covers the Bucs is talking about that on NFL Radio right now.

He said they're calling it a calf strain right now, but seems to think it may be more serious. He said Garcia was working with the other QB's and he froze for a moment when he felt something in his calf. He then laid on the field, on his stomach for a while before being carted off the field. In the locker room, Garcia wasn't putting any weight whatsoever on his leg.

Stroud said at this point, the teams will almost always call an injury a strain...last year at this time we were told Alstott had a neck strain which turned out to be a career ending vertebrae injury. He said it was really too early to know, but they (reporters) normally went by the players reaction to the injury and he said it looked pretty serious to him.

Confirmed it on NFL Radio...the Packers have began to discuss internally the option of trading Favre to Chicago or Minnesota.
