I would guess they would start Rash, Hendrix, Combs, Curtis, and maybe Crisp if they want to go small. Those are the 5 guys that had the most playing time last year. Rash and Hendrix should be the go to players with Rash drawing the defensive assignment of the guarding the others team/s best player.

He is, love watching him play. The game to come to would be at GRC on Dec. 12. Big rival game...will be very entertaining.

Well school started yesterday at Prestonsburg, I received a call from a friend telling me he was at school.

Sounds like this is a kid Coach Greisser doesn't really need anyway if he's in and out. I think Montgomery pulled off a coup getting Keith as head coach. I'm looking forward to see how the Indians do this season against that tougher schedule. The Indians also have some solid talent coming up through the middle school program as well.

Brandon has guarded some of the best players to come through the state the past couple of years. Last year he guarded Darius Miller and Robbie Stenzel. His sophmore year he guarded a kid from GRC that a few people might have heard of named Preston Knowles. This summer he guarded players Josh Whitaker and Vee Sanford, neither of those players are tall but both are amazing players. If Brandon guards someone they will have a tough night all night.

Rash and Hendrix will have to guard the two best players on every team, every night. I'd say they are also going to be #1 and #2 options scoring as well. Crisp I think....will more than likely be the third. Montgomery is really going to have to rely on these players!

Until Bourbon County and Paris get their programs back up to par, Montgomery is going to have a cake walk to the region year in and year out. They will get the 1st or 2nd seed along with Clark Co and will be one blowout win away from the regional tourney. Coach Greisser is a great coach and will do great things over there. Could see him moving to bigger things in the near future.

Griesser had his chance to move on up with the Tates Creek Job....He chose to keep his loyalty to Montgomery. He is a loyal and hardworking coach that knows the game....I agree with many on the board that thinks that Griesser's time to move on up may be nearing!

I would hate to see him move from the 40th district...he and his staff has my upmost respect.:thumb:

Finally got someone to take them back? The guy he replaced took them to the state tournament. As I said above Greisser is a great hire for Montgomery and a close personal friend, but let's not downplay the job Coach Rison did at Montgomery.

I wouldnt say strength of schedule was one of Coach Rison's strong points....

Coach Rison did a great job even with a light schedule but one visit to tourny in all those years, yes it will be nice to get back.
