Georgia Mascot Uga VI Dies

Featured Replies

You are probably right :thumb:, P.E.T.A. will no doubt be all over this. That group of idiot's are against everything else.

Truth be known the "UGA's" probably lived a better life than some humans. Those dogs are very well taken care of and held in high esteem, the Georgia fans take their mascot very seriously.

They are treated about like the Budweiser Clidesdales (sp?)

I took this pic of UGA at Commonwealth Stadium on 11-4-06.... The year the goal posts came down.

Last time Georgia went to Commonwealth I remember bringing the binoculars so I could see UGA, because I knew I was in the nosebleeds.

While this is sad, after looking at some of the pictures I can see why he died of heart failure. Bulldogs aren't skinny dogs but it looks to me like the poor old fella was a bit overfed.

Not a good sign for the upcoming season.

 I thought the same thing but hey, there are no superstitions or "signs" in sports. No one believes that kind of stuff............do they?

Maybe the "Dawgs" will win a NC for "UGAVI".

I heard that Rivals has UGA VII ranked as a 5 star mascot. It could be a good year UG.

^ They won the recruiting battle for UGAVII over Miss. State and Fresno State. :thumb:
