  • I never pay attention to gas prices as it doesn't impact my life in any way. Meaning, I'm going to drive to and from my job, gym, etc. But I did read last week that prices should start to ease their w

Get it now...

Crude just hit $75 the highest price since 2014 and were entering the slowest driving season of the year, winter.

Gas is up to $2.99 in Cincy.

That is crazy for this time of the year, the question is, how high can it go?

Read a few different articles that names one person, who has a lot to do with this.

Iran sanctions. There isn’t enough spare capacity to make up for 1.5 mill or so barrels a day coming off the market. Crude could get to $100 if the speculators completely freak out.

46 cents increase over night 2.95 now. Reading where a trade war and the demanding of opec to make more are two of the biggest reasons why. Two other reason middle east problems and low supplies.

I thought the US was energy independent and it would not matter what the rest of the world did. I believe it is simple greed of oil/gas companies looking for any excuse to gouge the public.

Sadly not even close. The US is exporting most of the oil they make now. $75 bucks a barrell, a tanker full of barrels is floating gold.

Even if the US wanted to keep all oil home, we only produce half of what we use daily.

Electric cars are the only way out.

Notice when gas prices would suddenly jump a few years back, it was a 25 cent jump, then in the last year or so it jumps 35 cents. This time around it jumped 40 plus cents. I sense a pattern.

Let’s hope Barclays is right on their Brent prediction. $75 in Q1 2019, $71 in Q2 2019, and just $70 in Q3 2019. They predict things to get better in December and on.

Oil bulls ran out of helium. Gas should fall 10-20 cents in the coming weeks, to closer align with fall/winter prices.

I am sure the bulls are looking for more helium but winter is approaching.
