Final thoughts on the NBA Draft

Joe Crawford went 58th to the Lakers.

 

WKU's Cortney Lee went 22nd to the Magic.

 

12 freshmen drafted

8 sophmores drafted

 

5 Kansas Jayhawks were selected.

 

Mike Taylor is first NBDL player ever drafted in the NBA draft.

 

Winners

Miami Heat - Beasley, Chalmers & Darnell Jackson

 

Bucks - Richard Jefferson, Joe Alexander & Mbah a Mutah (sp?)

 

Nets - Brook Lopez, CDR, & the lesser known Ryan Anderson from Cal with the 21st selection...They also traded for Yi...That's a decent night.

The draft in general in any sport has been over hyped because of the NFL Draft.

Apparently the Spurs traded Goran Dragic (Slovenia) to the Suns for Malik Hairston (Oregon). My question is this: Why didn't the Spurs just draft Hairston? :lol:

Did you miss the draft? Right after Walker was drafted by the Wizards he was traded to the Celtics.

 

As a matter of fact, I did miss the draft. I was being forced against my will to watch Disney cartoons, and then it was off to work for me. :irked:

I thought 2 players who went way too low were Darrel Arthur and Chris Douglas-Roberts. I have no idea why Arthur would drop that far. I believe teams will really regret not drafting him.
