what is your favorite WWII movie and why?

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. We Were Soldiers was based in 1965 in North Vietnam...still a great movie though.

My daughter had to watch The Pianist in one of her classes and she made me rent it later to watch, found it very good.

My daughter had to watch The Pianist in one of her classes and she made me rent it later to watch, found it very good.

 

I am glad that someone has seen it. It's a fabulous movie, but not one that I believe many people have seen. I thought it was a simply fascinating story and thought that Adrien Brody did a great job as the main character.
