June 2, 200818 yr Read an interesting article in the Herald Leader today and thought of how Bush is viewed today. It seems during his Presidency and afterwards, Abraham Lincoln was hated and despised by those people living in KY. I would gather his popular rating would have been real low among Kentuckians. John McCain to George Bush: " Mr President, I knew Abraham Lincoln. Abe Lincoln was a friend of mine. Mr. President, you are no Abe Lincoln."

Because he wasn't on the ballot in Mich. correct? I think that is hardly fair to say she is deserving of being counted in the lead in the popular vote with this being the case. Do you agree?
June 2, 200818 yr Out of curiousity, what would have to happen to change you mind one bit? To be honest with you. It will take a lot more than this and the republican talking points. Out all of these controversies I haven't seen anything that would shake my confidence in his abilities to run this country. There were a lot of questions about George Bush but it didn't stop me from voting for him in 2004.

As I said in my previous post, the GOP set sensible rules in advance of the primaries. The DNC disenfranchised all Michigan and Florida voters and then changes the rules after the game was over.
