I wonder if any other seniors to be will not be playing this year. This coming year's senior class has more good athletes in it than any I can remember at Corbin........it's a shame that only about 3-4 of the best 12-15 athletes in that grade will be playing football.

Smith re injured his knee in baseball an said it has never felt the same since he first hurt it. I am glad he is getting it taken care of now he said he would stay with the team and play next year.I think some of these older kids need to re think about not playing because some would get a lot of time on the field but you got do what you got to do.I stillthink the REDHOUNDS will be O.K. I look for Freeman and Mitchell to share time at Q.B. Look for Hoover to play now he would be a big help.

Sewell is a good athlete...he will be missed. Seems Corbin always drops a few players in the off-season. The other posters are correct...if they piece together a solid line then they will have a good season...if not they may have some difficulty.

Im not so sure that Sewell will sit out his senior year. I seem to remember him saying the same thing last summer. Hopefully he decides to suit up for the Hounds. Manns, Hendrickson, and Stewart from the basketball team will be solid additions.

I hope Corey changes his mind. However, both he and Coiltin have spoken to the coach about leaving. Nothing has changed in the recent past. I hope they both reconsider. Luke Stewart has been lifting with the team but I am not sure Hendrickson has made a final decision. The possibility of losing basketball playing time because they can't participate as much during the summer time seems to make the decision more difficult for most players of both sports.

It's becoming more difficult every year to play both football and basketball due to the time that needs to be devoted to each one in addition to the academic workload..

If coach Farris will run the football the hounds can win 2A, if he throws they want do much in the playoffs and Middlesboro may win the district.

Good point he may decide to run cross country or perhaps play on the golf team instead of playing football or going thru preseason basketball conditioning. Those are both options for the fall sports seasons at CHS. I would bet he works on his basketball game and tries to become more of a factor next season for the Hounds.

They may not have to attempt a pass with backs like Campbell, Watkins and Fritts.

They may not have to pass as much as they did with Cashen but they will need a qb that can keep the defence honest.
