I think yes is the answer and for no other reason than it is human nature.

 

Now you can absolutely be proven wrong by that person's actions. But your first inclination is going to be too judge them. I think telling people to not judge is like telling them not to sin.

We should strive to lessen it but to expect none, means a person would have to be perfect.

 

And just for the record, why would you be cautionary? Because you have concerns about the person and those concerns arose because you have at least partially judged them.

I think you should not make an eternal judgement.

 

The casting of the stone is the argument that is most brought out.

 

My belief there is that stoning LEAD to death. You stoned a person to kill them. Once they were dead, than their eternal place was cemented. No changing it.

 

I believe that Jesus knew that we should not be making eternal judgments on individuals (I might with the typing of that sentence changed my view on death penalty.) but what did he then tell that lady.

 

Go and sin no more.

I agree, LBBC. I guess that I find it more troublesome when I see negativity diplayed toward homosexual couples then I do heterosexual couples that live engage in premarital sex. I always believed that both are equally wrong (from a Christian standpoint). The only reason I can come up with in regards to the double standard is that some people find that the 2nd category hits too close to home.

The latter has become acceptable behavior in this country and why it is looked upon as no big deal.

 

And where some in this country wants to move on a whole host of behaviors in this country so that they can feel free to do whatever they want to do with no guilt.
