May 16, 200818 yr I think it was 146 games a year. They were on a few NBC game of the weeks and a few times when they went to the west coast they weren't shown. All home games were shown. Danley Garage Sales sponsored the Lead-off Man. Union 76 with Murph's Station was a huge sponsor as was SportMart (Shaumburg, Niles, Calumet City, Oaklawn. For sports, it's SportsMart). Great American and Car-X were big WGN sponsors then too, as was of course Budweiser. I also remember when Jack Brickhouse, Lou Boudreau, and Vince Lloyd did the first three innings on TV, then Jack and Vince did the middle three innings on WGN Radio and Milo Hamilton came over and did PBP on TV for the middle three. Jack and Vince came back for the final three. I think Harry used to do the middle three on radio when he first came to the Cubs in the early 1980s.

May 17, 200818 yr Soriano has been out of his mind the last 2 weeks. He already has 2 HRs today against the Pirates, the second day in a row he has hit multiple HRs. That gives him 7 HR's in the last 6 games. Just unbelievable. If Lee can get out of his slump, look out.
