April 30, 200818 yr I'm not one to bash a coach and I don't feel like I am here. D'Antoni is part of the problem, you cannot play 7 guys over the course of an 82 game season and expect to be somewhat fresh come playoff time - Gordan Giricek, D.J. Strawberry, and Alando Tucker can all play but he did not develop them. That has been his biggest criticism in that there has been no bench development since arriving.
April 30, 200818 yr He has done NOTHING to improve the D over the last 4 years. He's out and should be IMO. They have had the talent to win it the last few years he just didn't get the job done. Let keep beating the same method into the ground even thought it doesn't get it done it the playoffs.

Let keep beating the same method into the ground even thought it doesn't get it done it the playoffs. A lot of teams that don't win it still use the same method. That is how they are successful. There are just teams that are better than them. There D is bad but not every team is great defensively just like some teams are not great offensively. It is the special teams that can combine them and go on and win the title.

I know they want to win championships, but they would be nuts to fire D'Antoni. He makes the playoffs with his style and always puts butts in the seats in Phoenix. No way the Suns get rid of him.
May 1, 200818 yr Your right about that he does put fans in the seats but he is never going to win a ring with that style of play.
May 1, 200818 yr  Either he was implying that the Cats could hire D'Antoni because BCG hasn't signed, or he was implying that BCG could sign with Phoenix since he hasn't signed here. Either way I think it was a joke .
