April 29, 200818 yr If everyone had that frame of mind all the time we wouldn't have message boards. They are created for us to discuss things we disagree on. That is what we are doing here. You you think Woodson was wronged?
April 29, 200818 yr You you think Woodson was wronged? He was more wronged by being drafted by the G-Men than being drafted in the 6th round.
April 29, 200818 yr He was more wronged by being drafted by the G-Men than being drafted in the 6th round. Actually they are saying that they have plans to make him a long-term backup to Manning. I'd say Lorenzen was probably more wronged by this pick then Woodson.

April 29, 200818 yr Woodson has to be a total flop not to make the 3rd string. I am sure the staff does not want any of the current QBs as the #3, for money reasons alone. J Load may be looking for a new team.
April 29, 200818 yr Author That will be good for Woodson but I hate to see anybody from UK have to play for the Giants. Why? You hate for them to go to one of the oldest, most loyal, most winning organizations in the National Football League? Seven championships (3 super bowls) and 3rd most wins in NFL history. They are a very well ran organization...would you rather UK players go some place like the Lions?

J Load may be looking for a new team. It's not like JLoad is breaking the bank for the Giants, he's getting less than $1 million this year. Carr is only making $1 million too. Wright makes the most out of the backups at a little over $1 mill and Eli will make $12 million this year.
April 29, 200818 yr Hopefully Dre has a great showing, proves to be a good QB in preseason/spot duty or perhaps if Eli goes down for a few games, and gets a situation similar to Shcuab (sp?) with the Texans. All anyone can hope for at this point. No way he would have started within the next 2 seasons for ANY NFL team, so it might not be such a bad situation. Get acclimated to the pro game, fix your "hitch" and get paid...

April 30, 200818 yr Woodson got the short end of the stick. I just hope he shows the pro scouts what they missed out on.
April 30, 200818 yr Not making any predictions here, but how many times have we heard in the last few days that you-know who was drafted in the 6th round?
