Since we are on the subject of bikes, any ideas where I can find used parts for mine? I am looking for a carb for the Yamaha, and all kinds of stuff for the Dream.

You know I want too but to me just laying it down and the consequences aren't worth the reward... I don't know.

 

I felt the same way kinda, to be honest my parents are who got me into it. I'd never rode before last year, but now, all I can think about is when I can ride and what I'd like my next bike to be. It's just fun if you're feeling what you are I'd suggest a nice middle to upper size cruiser, say 600-950 size.

Kinda like the Corey Lidle thing.. I don't know.. I would love a bike but can't ride it if your dead.

 

Honestly the only thing that's really different between a bike in a car, is you're only agressive on straight aways in a bike, and you're always defensive around everyone corner you go through. Live by those rules and I'd say you've got a shot.

my friend wrecked his tonight actually by hitting a pot hole on 275 doing about 70mph. Thankfully he's ok but the bike is like a pretzel. I don't own one and have no interest anytime soon...too dangerous for me

 

Pot holes are fierce on 275 I drive between NKU and 75 ALOT, and have hit quite a few rivets lately. Gotta keep your eyes open through that stretch.

I have to agree with the size comment. I usually ride nothing smaller than a 650, but I couldn't pass up the deal on this little 500.

Never had a street bike but use to ride dirt bikes. Sold it after I got married. That and I had a pretty nasty meeting with a tree during a race. I still want to get another one some day. I would also like to have street bike. The biggest thing that scares me about a street bike is other drivers. I see how stupid people are behind the wheel and how much they don't pay attention.

2008 CBR 600RR here, love it!

Had a 2000 Honda CBR F4i. Would flat out fly, sold it 4 years ago! The fastest that I had it was 140 mph! WOW!

 

Had a 1999 before I got my new one and yes the F4i would fly! As will the 600RR

I am glad he is ok. I have seen several wrecks as an EMT and Firefighter, but I can't help myself. I just gotta ride.

 

My hubby is also an EMT and fireman. He has a black cherry 05 Fatboy HD. We love it.

I had a Honda 650 but recently sold it. I have been looking at a new HD. A road trip to Deadwood has always been on my list.
