I guess Coach Whitman has realized that Coach Napier will coach until he dies, so he should look else where for a Head Coaching spot. Good luck to him, Owsley had a good young team and should be pretty good in a couple of years.

Owsley County has one of the best potential players in the region in the 5'9 eight grader Peyton Wright. The lefty is a diamond in the rough ready for the polishing. Any coach shoud love the chance to work with this girl.

I don't know of anyone who has applied as of today. I've heard a few names mentioned, but I wouldn't want to post anything without knowing for sure.
