April 19, 200818 yr 80's rock was far better than today's rock. IMO. I would much rather listen to Kiss, Aerosmith, Montley Crue, Ozzy, Bon Jovi, and Van Halen than I would Chris Daughtry or Kid Rock.

Speaking from a child of the 70's and our group having to live through the travesty called "disco" :scared: :lol: I find it hard to imagine that anything could be worse. As for the good rock & roll of the 80's, I would say that Springsteen, Aerosmith and Bon Jovi may have been the two best for me anyway. I say that as for the ones that I liked but I was then and still am a true country music fan. After disco, the "70's" just pretty much ruined me on anything that wasn't country.

My family was a wide range of diversity of when it came to music! :jump: Sister- The Carpenters, etc.. Brother #1- Disco, Spinners, EW&F, etc... Brother #2- KISS, Ozzy, Frampton, Seger, AC/DC etc... Dad- Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash & Bluegrass... Mom- Oakridge Boys, etc.... But the best memories I have are KISS concerts with Brother #2 and Bluegrass Festivals with my parents. :thumb: The older I get I can't listen to Hard Rock anymore, it makes my head hurt.:lol: My roots keep taking me back to country !!!

Kid Rock can't make up his mind what type of music he is going to play. He is like rap/rock/country/southern rock.
