Barber will only help one team no matter where he goes and that would be Fairview, if he doesnt go there then East Carter and Elliott should be the top two favorites

No doubt that East and Elliott would be good choices, but why do you say that the one team Barber will help is Fairview?

Elliott should be he team to beat in the 16th again next year, but after that there will be a few lean years.

Greenup County has some nice younger talent. Sophomore to be Trey Williams is a player to watch for sure and with Coach Fraley in place I believe the young Muskies will be moving out of the cellar quicker than expected.

 

Boyd County will not be down long as well. Coach Zornes would not come back to a program that would stay in that shape forever. The Lions will be back I'm sure.

I'm going to agree With duck1220, 4 starters back, won 8 games last season,,,,15 is not too far of a reach:thumb:

Russell has a good group of Juniors coming back and with a softer schedule should get to 10-12 wins next year and 16-18 by their Sr year. Everyone knew last year that Russell would not compete for the region until this class' senior year. Good luck to the Devils and the new coach.:devil:

 

Not sure if they will even compete for the regional title then, very possible though. I think it depends on the younger players coming up through Russell. I think next year's 7th grade class will be the very good and they will be there when Skaggs is a senior so I think they will be a very good group coming though. I saw Kyle Skaggs yesterday and it looks as though he has grown at least 2 inches since the season ended and maybe more than that. Looks as though he's hitting his growth spurt that everyone knew he had coming soon.
