I thought that was him, too.

The school announced on Thursday that Keightley’s funeral procession will drive by the Avenue of Champions’ side of Memorial Coliseum Friday at 8:55 a.m. en route to the private memorial service at Lexington Center.

 

Memorial Hall tower chimes will play “On, On U of K” at that moment.

This is what made me cry. Just seeing how many players he has touched.

News just said Tubby's plane had problems and he didn't make it. I'll bet he's a wreck. He really loved Mr. Wildcat and Mr. Wildcat loved him.

I can't watch it again. Not right now. I met Mr. Wildcat 3 or 4 years ago. We talked about 5 minutes. He acted like we had been friends for 20 years. R.I.P. old friend.
