April 4, 200818 yr I don't think thats right at all, its called attendence because they are "attending"... The have 2 numbers, ticket sales and turnstiles. Usually what you see posted is ticket sales, not turnstiles.

Weekday afternoon games usually don't go over too well, especially at the beginning of the year. Plus, they didn't think this game would get played today do to the weather. As a side note, they're working on a nice little promotion for these games to bring people in.
April 4, 200818 yr I know that if the ballpark was full all year that means good things are happening, but there isn't much I enjoy more than going and just taking in a game where the whole place isn't cramped. Ain't much better than sittin in the cheap seats on a clear late summer night with the temp. in the 70's... Maybe a full park is a great atmosphere, but I kinda like watchin' games when the place ain't full...

April 4, 200818 yr It's an hour from Cincy and an hour from Lexington, but with ticket prices being what they are, it's tempting to go to a Legends game where I'm practically sitting on the field.

I go to about 20 Reds games a year. Just buy the $7.00 bleacher seat and move down to field level after the third inning.
April 4, 200818 yr This is my third season working at the GABP, the first three weeks are alsways limited attendance, throw in the rain, and chill and more peaople don't show up. Once school is over, and if the reds keep up in the chase, people will come. Also don't forget Griffey is only 7 homers away from 600, I expect attendance to rise when he is about 3 away.
