UK -vs- UL, 2008 game set....

Featured Replies

^ You are wrong....the defense of 2007 will have been much worse than the 2008 edition, and they almost bowled last season.

When the UL defensive coordinator says things like "it's hard to be positive" and "I haven't gone though anything like this in many years" you had better prepare yourself for a tough season on defense.

^It was tough last season...it could be this year. Overall this team will be better this year, with an easier schedule....

Should be a very good game as was last season's.

That's a bold statement with all the talent they lost.

Obviously it was not the main issue, and I am not saying it cost them any games necessarily, but I wonder if playing so often on Thursday or Friday nights and whenever ESPN wanted them to may have thrown off routines for UL some last year.

No. Well, it never hurt the past 7 or 8 years. So it I doubt it did last year. It actually helped them in the past, everyone associated with the program has said that the weekday games gave them a lot of exposure they would not have gotten elsewhere.
