Was glad to be able to talk to Coach Wright after the game. I have about 4-5 minutes of audio that I will play on my show in the morning. The former St. Henry history teacher and freshman basketball coach has come a long way.

Now, that is funny.

South fell behind 9-0 ... missed first seven shots, had a fluke missed free throw get tipped in the air that went in for Hazard and Hazard was easily the better team.

Also South shoots in the 30 percent range and only loses by three .... man, you are right, Hazard was easily the better team.

 

South is just lucky that they could grab and hold Whitaker all day, or it definitely wouldnt have been that close. Hazard just had a better gameplan coming in. They hit a bad spell down the stretch and let South back in the game.

Part of being a good team is getting out to a good start. Guess they missed that one as well.

I have given South plenty of credit over the years, so its nothing to do with who they are. I just call em like I see em.
