Billy P-ACC-ker Is Ticked

However, if the SEC was #1 and the ACC got more teams in, then NO ONE would be whining on here

Do you think the ACC is the best league??? I have yet to hear any analyst believe that the ACC is truly the best league. In fact, they are probably 4th best at best.

Pac 10 and Big East were CLEARLY the two best leagues...

Hard to argue against that.

The RPI is a tool/guide, but sometimes it is not the end all be all. The ACC is extremely top heavy this year. If Georgia doesn't win the SEC tourney both the SEC and ACC get 5 anyway. When you look at those on the edge, they all have bad marks on their resume. You can argue the merits and cons of each. Someone has to get left out. If it had been Kentucky, it would have been because they did not do enough to get in. I can say the same for Va Tech. If they had beaten a top ten team, like UNC maybe they get in. UK did beat a top ten team. I actually think Arizona State has a much larger beef that Va. Tech, because they actually beat some good teams (Xavier, Arizona (2), Stanford)

Without a doubt and the way Kansas and Texas looked today, the Big 12 is arguably 3rd, ACC, SEC, and little ten in the next group.

No question about that:thumb:

Notre Dame is a 5 seed Digger, why do they deserve any consideration when it comes to travel/location.

Remember this next year boys and girls. Conference and conference RPI mean nothing in selection...

As much as it pains me to admit, this year would seem to support that argument.

Because he coached them...

I heard that 6 of the 10 on the committee had no b-ball background. Interesting.

I do not think that conference RPI should mean anything, because it is skewed by the teams in the bottom of the league. The best way to do it, is the way they do it, look at each individual team's resume.

true dat...

IMO that’s the way it should be... I don't trust any of the talking heads to be unbiased and fair...

Someone always has to be the last one not in... They should look at themselves for why they are not in.
