Losing to Seton Hall late in year hurt them as well, because the Hall got the bid.

But the whole body of work showed UC was clearly better. They looked at the time without Kirk and that game likely tipped the scales...

True..how many games did they play w/out Kirkland?

 

I know there was NCAA Committee representation at the UK/Tennessee game in Knoxville a few weeks back.

That helped.

15 games. So a much larger sample size than UK without Patterson...
