Final.

I was not there, but it looks like turnovers killed Rockcastle. Too bad...

Congrats on a great season Rockcastle!!

Gotta hate being that girl that missed all 3 free throws... Tough loss.

I think she is a freshman...tough situation for a freshman.

This game may have set a record for most turnovers in a state tournament game. Does anyone have the numbers? Westsider?

Angie Lawrence is a Freshman. I hope she gets the chance to come back to this stage and redeem herself. To her credit, if she didn't have a monster game in the Regional tournament, Rockcastle may not have been on that stage.

Don't hang your head Rock, you will be back on that stage.

BTW- What was Hammonds stat line? I heard that she had 20 rebounds!

Missed another one.

The Lady Rockets WILL be back to the State Tourney and you can Write that Down

Ohio Co. had 23 turnovers. Rockcastle had 29.

Real exciting game. 22 steals and all the turnovers. you really had to see it. both teams were all over each other and a large number of the turnovers were forced. man-to-man and full court press. Both team scoring on steals on in-bounds under their own goals. Rock up by 10 then OC up by 9 then back and forth the fourth quarter. Mariah Robinson and Hammond and Rowe playing with four fouls. Both Keown's fouled out. And that with the officials pretty much letting them play. Lots of quality minutes from both benches. The teams seemed similar to me in style of play.

Most stats pretty even except points off turnovers. OC cashed them in.

Seems like M Robinson and S Rowe are going to have their games no matter what you do. One key though was OC ability to contain Saylor. 31:05 minutes and scoreless after scoring 31 in the region final. They were absolutely all over her all night.

Pretty good tournament ball. Again, 'somebody had to lose'.

Rock only loses one senior but it is Sara Rowe. (pronounced 'rau', not 'row')

Looking for the Rock to do well next year in the 12th and hopefully be back.

The girls are planning on it.

Looks like the 3rd quarter was the difference. Ohio outscored Rock 19-7 in the 3rd period. Ouch.

Yup 3rd quarter was the difference. I think OC went on a 17-0 run from the very end of the half well into the third. Then Rock ran back to tie and the see-saw was on till the end.

Sara Rowe KABC 12th region Player of the Year

Quite an athlete

Congrats on a good season Rockcastle! Ohio County is strong, good luck later on Ohio County!

This was a very exciting game even though their were lots and lots of turnovers.
