March 13, 200818 yr ESPN Radio has too many commercials and they last too long. I never liked Dan Patrick. I rarely listen to anything other than Colin Cowherd on ESPN...my radio (SIRIUS) rarely leaves NFL Radio. Typically, during one of their breaks, I'd check ESPN to see what was going on...as often as not they were on commercial also, but if they weren't, sometimes I'd listen until they did. Very true that the commercials are way too long. It's ridiculous.

March 14, 200818 yr Stern basically blames it on the FCC as well. I called Sirius the other day to ask about the merger as I'm also anxiously awaiting it before baseball season starts. They told me the same thing about the FCC, they said their stock holders had approved it, but the FCC was holding it up.
March 14, 200818 yr What is the FCC's reasoning? Seems like Stern said the FCC thinks they could be creating a monopoly, which isnt the case at all because they still have to compete with free radio.
