"God's on our side"

Bring the rosary.

Separation of church and state will prevail.

Honestly, one of the most ignorant and pompous cheers going. The CCH cheering section is creative, but that one is silly.

I think silly would be an accurate description because it's supposed to be taken as a joke. I highly doubt that any CovCath fan honestly believes that God should be giving them an advantage in the game.

I think Henderson's ability to get to the rim and create scoring opportunities will be too much for the colonels. Correct me if im wrong, but didn't he have 10-12pts in OT in the district finals alone by getting to the basket and free throw line? I think his athleticism will be too much for the colonel inside game

Henderson finished the first game with 30 points. Covcath had nobody and has nobody who can stop him. But yes he did have 12 in OT.

As for the game, I gotta go with Holmes. The way they're playing right now is on another level. This won't be a blow out by any means but Covcath is going to have to be stroking it from 3 point land otherwise they're going to be in trouble.

The past two games Holmes has blown late leads against CCH in regulation and CCH hot shooting from beyond the arc has been the only thing to keep them in the game. I say Holmes by 5-10 making it back to back appearances at Rupp and sweeping the series against CCH.

Dawgs defense and Athleticism are going to be too much for CCH to overcome.

No matter what happens tonight though, 30 wins in a season is a great accomplishment for this Holmes bunch who many thought wouldn't be where they are today.

Yes. Insight 6...

I know where I'm going to be.

I thought the Semi's were supposed to be on ICN 6 last night too but instead they replayed the Girls Final. Are we sure that this game will be live tonight? I would hate to miss it.

If I want a seat in the lower level what time should I expect to get there?

ANyone know what time the doors open

Seriously I wouldn't be surprised if by 5 the Colonel Crazies aren't already out there. I'd get there no later than 5:45 or 6.

Doors will probably open around 5.

Catholic and their fans. Truly a KHSAA Classic.

Cov Catholic because of the fans.

Last night they kept announcing at approximately 5:30, right after they kept telling everyone to beat it, after the first game. Maybe next year you'll be able to catch 2 games for the price of 1?

I believe an announcement was made at the game last night that doors will open at 5:30. Only the finals are being televised on ICN 6....

This is going to be a tough game. These are two of the best in our region, and they both deserve to be where they are today. Good luck to both teams......but I hope the Bulldogs take it all the way! The 9th region is soooooo overdue for a state championship!

In the two losses this season CCH allowed alot of offensive rebounds for Holmes which resulted in alot of second chance points for Holmes. If CCH is going to win this game they must do a better job boxing out and rebounding the ball. That is a tall order.

They did a tremendous job on the boards against Highlands. But Highlands does not have the "leapers" that Holmes does. If CC is dedicated on their box outs...an upset could be brewing!!! Maile is the key. Keep him off the glass and Holmes will be dancing in Lexington!

Catholic and their fans. Truly a KHSAA Classic.

Indeed. Bardstown, who plays the winner of this game, has taken some nice cues from CovCath, doing a pretty faithful recreation of the boxing skit. They have some other ones as well that have been pretty entertaining during their postseason run.
