Will Superdelegates go to Hillary because she is more electable?

It is the administration's fault that people entered into loans they should not have?

It is the administration's fault that OPEC has raised prices?

ALL of it's the administrations fault for those who have little knowledge of economics in general and our system in particular. Unfortunately Moreheadeagle is correct that a huge percentage of the population falls into that category.

Yes blame the media for the rash of foreclosures, the falling dollar, huge trade deficits, skyrocketing oil, job losses, falling wages, rising health care costs. Yep, all the media's fault.

The economy has been on a steady downturn and is now in a nosedive. I can see why people want another party to take over since the current one hasn't done a very good job.

Foreclosures and oil prices are not the administration's fault as mentioned. There have not been job losses and I really don't think that there has been falling wages.

I'd appreciate it if you backed it up with some numbers. LBBC just started another thread in which some economists said we may not slip into a recession. I have posted numerous times that it is about 50/50 about whether or not we are in.

MoreheadEagle, I know you are very intelligent from a lot of your posts. But I need to see some numbers- when you name all of these things that are horrible without backing them up, and use statements such as nosedive, it is hard to take them seriously--much like the media's claims.

I hope they do.....I don't think Hillary stands a chance against McCain, Obama may.

This nosedive hasn't reached my home.

You ever think about posting something from a Neutral party instead of democrat propaganda? Once again the nosedive hasn't reached my middle class home or those of anyone of my aquantances.

MoreheadEagle, you can do better than that. I don't have very much time right now, but some of those are quite errored.

The one from Congressman Spratt talks about "Number of Jobs needed to keep up with labor force growth" being 122,000. That doesn't make sense, or else unemployment rate wouldn't be at 4.8%, lower then the averages of the past 3 decades.

Furthermore, I went to the US Census Bureau that Congressman Spratt cited in Chart 2. His numbers don't match up with anything that I can find. The chart claims that the household median income was between $46,000-46,500. Right here his from his source saying that it is $47,845 (table 1 on page 13/78). The report also says that median household income rose from 2005 to 2006 for the second consecutive year.

I don't have much time now but I will try to get back later. Your other two articles are from the dailykos (one of them cited an article that was later updated to portray a much better picture of the US) and the other from DNC.

C'mon now, don't YOU always go to those same sites for your economic information? :D

Up until a few days ago, I would have said that there is no way the superdelegates would give the nomination to Hillary. After Obama's stumbling, bumbling handling of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Trinity United Church of Christ issue, I am not so sure. If Obama's poll numbers sink way below Hillary's and if she were to win PA, MI (again) and FLA(again), then I could see the super delegates panicking and taking the nomination from Obama.

Come to Martinsville, VA my friend.

We are #1 in the state of VA in unemployment and have been for 8 years. We are a traditional manufacturing community that was built on Textiles and Furniture. Now you know why. :thumb:
