However, that would be almost as unfair as your knee jerk reaction accusing the religious right. On second thought, it would not be as bad. What, in your opinion, could the religious right gain by such an e-mail? Young votes!, which have mostly been going to Obama and the dems. Well let's see, this whole thing has to do with religion, and it is against a Democrat, there for I wouldnt say it is the religious left. This all has to do with playing on christians fear of a change, and they play the same card every 4 years and it usually works. In other words, there is nothing to indicate that the email did not originate from the same campaign who have had surrogates publicly bringing attention to Barrack Hussein Obama's middle name, comparing his campaign to Jesse Jackson's campaign, publicizing Obama's illicit drug use, etc. You just prefer to believe that the religious right is behind this smear. Democrats also conveniently forget that Willie Horton first became a campaign issue during the Democratic primaries.
