I can't believe nobody is even talking about Deron Williams...what is up with that? Have you not seen him play? There's no way he can be rated lower than #3, IMO.

 

He's averaging slightly above 10 assists per game...a little under 20 points per game, while shooting over 51% from the field and over 40% from 3-point range.

 

I am glad to see that at least two more people voted for him. Personally, I was back and forth between he and Paul at #1, but those two are a cut above the rest, IMO. Like I said, you can make good arguments for pretty much any of them, but ultimately, I think Paul and Williams are the only two guys who give you the total package at that position...they can score, create, they shoot well, make good decisions, make their teammates better and they can defend well. None of the other guys do all those things as well as those two.

Another point to consider...all of the PG's, except Tony Parker, are either the best or second best player on their team. Parker is, IMO, the third best player for the Spurs behind Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobli. That's a big deal to me when comparing him to the other guys, and a big reason why he rated 7 out of 7 on my list.
