Can't help ya GO. I just listened on the Radio.....Give those seats to the parents and students!!!!!!!!!!!

There were plenty of them filling those seats!! Great fan support from both schools and, for the most part, well behaved.

I said during the broadcast, there are some great sports venues out there, "The Barn" "The Palace" "The Shoe" and I have named Elliott Co Gym "The Shoe Horn" cause that's what it took to get all those fans in there tonight!!!

And thanks hog for supporting local radio!

Sounds good Tim, although my ears were ringing from being at the game tonight. I left with about 1min to go and let you guys do the finishing work. ;)

That blocked shot by Barnhill, looked like goal tending to me. JMO

Thanks!

It may have been GT but it was one heck of a play!!!

Maynard stepped up big for Elliott tonight with both Knipps under the weather. Great to see him recognized with a place on the all tourney team. Bad for other teams if he really gets it going now after whats kinda been a subpar shooting year for him.... The kid can really fill it up when he gets going.

TMay really came through for his team tonight and truly deserved to be named to the all district team!!!!! WAY TO GO TMAY!!!! You finished your playtime on your home court with pride and determination!!!

By the way, and I know this is a shameless plug, but I really would like to know. For those who might have listened to this game or any game on our web stream, how does it sound? I have never gotten to hear it because, obviously, I am at the game!! I just would like to know if it is clear and good quality sound.

I never listened to this game on the web stream, but I have listened to oodles of others. Sounds really clear. Just like on radio. No interruptions or cutouts of any kind and good voice tone. The commentators could be better though.......just kidding.:jump: Always a nice job when I can't make the games.

Thanks, that is great to know. I always wanted to ask somebody, but never got around to it. We put a lot of time, sweat and money in that equipment and I was hoping it was as clear as we thought it would be!

And I agree about the commentators, we have some clown working games most of the time!! KJ is pretty good though!!

Personally, And I know some fans stay home as opposed to being cramped.... I think that atmospheres at small gyms are really special. Fans right on top the action, expressions seen from players and opposing fans, just every thing a high stakes Ky. high school district championship game should be!

Amen Brother!!!:thumb:

congratulations to Elliott County and to East Carter. East will be a tough draw for any team to play in the first round.

The Lions fought back and won. And # 32 played great. He really put his heart and soul into this game. Way to go Tmay. Does anyone know why the Knipps were not at practice either day and why T Knipp was not at school. IF they were that sick they should not have Played, just my opinion.

You're right there . . . and in tonight's game . . . balls hitting kids that are just outside the line!! The ref sure couldn't miss that call!!

The Lions rally from a 9 point half time deficit to win the district. Congratulations to Elliott County. I look forward to Wireman buying my dinner at BW3's during the 16th Region Tournament. :D

Alright, alright - its time for a little payback. I'm not sure which nights I'll be there for sure, but I'll make sure we can meet next week and settle our "debts". I will be in Morehead for MSU's game Tuesday night, so I'm not sure if I'll be to all 3 day's of the regional, but I'll definately be there at least 2 nights (assuming that Elliott doesn't lose in the first round). We'll get together for sure.:thumb:

I listened to the game on the radio for the most part and I"m not sure that anyone has mentioned that Elliott shot 10% from the field during the second quarter :creepy:

Not in this thread.... But I posted in the update thread that Elliott was really struggling shooting in the first half. :thumb:

According to the "voice of the Lions" they were 1-10 during the 2nd quarter - a scorching 10%.

It was all in their plan to give East a false sense of security!!:sssh:
