Maynard stepped up big for Elliott tonight with both Knipps under the weather. Great to see him recognized with a place on the all tourney team. Bad for other teams if he really gets it going now after whats kinda been a subpar shooting year for him.... The kid can really fill it up when he gets going.

I personally think Tyler Maynard could be named the MVP of this game. His numbers aren't as big as the Faulkners or Ferguson, but he stepped up early in the 3rd and hit a couple of big 3's for Elliott and got them going.

I think they will miss him more next year than a lot of people realize. Even though he has stuggled with his stroke this year, other teams have no choice but to respect him.

I hate to see that Colt Barnhill didn't make the all tourney team. He had two very nice games and was left out. I think the big turnaround in the game came when he got hurt in the third quarter. Both teams played well and congratulations to Elliott on the district championship

Colt had a very nice tournament. Selection for all tourney is always tough. I wouldn't want that job for any kind of money!!! We did it one year because we carry all the games and the coaches wanted us to do it. Made way too many people mad because we selected the all tourney team based solely on the tourney. A kid who had a phenominal "year" but did nothing in the tourney did not make the team. We were berated so badly because this "big name" kid was left off, we decided to never be a part of the selection process again even though the coaches have asked several times since.

The Barnhill kid is an absolute gamer. He's the reason I give East the edge in a game against RH. (If it happens)

Very Little. Was sick, and when he did come in very quickly got in foul trouble.

The play that he was injured on is one that you won't see too many kids making around here. He was way up when he blocked that shot. Just glad that he wasn't hurt any worse than it turned out to be.

By the way, and I know this is a shameless plug, but I really would like to know. For those who might have listened to this game or any game on our web stream, how does it sound? I have never gotten to hear it because, obviously, I am at the game!! I just would like to know if it is clear and good quality sound.
