Ameristop/Shell going bankrupt???

I have been in a few of the Ameristop/Shell gas stations, and have found empty shelves and even a few times with just a few gas pumps open.

A few people have told me that they are going bankrupt...which includes most if not all in the NKY area.

Anyone heard anything on this?

This is old news. The bankruptcy was filed several months back. Expect the stores that remain open to be divided up and sold to investor groups for pennies on the dollar.

What size are the bottles? You can't buy 20 oz dews in a 6 pk. so they must be smaller? If a business is vending 20 oz bottles for .75 you should buy them all.

 

 

There is a big middle aisle display of them in Meijer, Pepsi products. They are often on sale for $2.99. There are also 6 pks of 16 oz. and 20 oz. bottles and they are even cheaper.

This has been coming for a couple of years. They finally hit the wall late this year. Many of their vendors have them on COD.
