February 28, 200818 yr "The snake was still digesting the dog at the zoo Wednesday. It will soon be relocated to the bush", Douglas said. If that were my dog I know a certain snake that would be stalked, and never seen again. Also...I'm glad I don't live in Australia. They have some of the most dangerous creatures on earth in that country. The 10 most venomous snakes, deadly spiders and scorpions, crocs, etc. And the waters around that continent are just as bad, with all types of sharks, sea snakes, stone fish, jelly fish...the list goes on. Australia, a nice place to vist, but don't stay too long, and leave your dog at home. Oh Professor... I know how much you like snakes!!!!! Augger is getting one so you'll have to go see it. One thought to think about: the python was just eating. This family pet happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. A python is a wild animal and it's instinct is to eat when it is hungry.
February 28, 200818 yr I think the snake should have been destroyed. I disagree. Just as was mentioned above, the snake was wild and was following instincts by stalking and ultimately killing its "prey". In my opinion, the family is at fault for seeing the snake several days prior to the incident and not calling animal control immediately to have the snake relocated.
February 28, 200818 yr Author I'm just thanking God a snake this big isn't going to wander in to my back yard. Now I say that and it will but as far as I know God didn't put them naturally on this continent.
February 28, 200818 yr Swamprat needs a snake this large to eat the gators that wonder into his yard.
February 29, 200818 yr I disagree. Just as was mentioned above, the snake was wild and was following instincts by stalking and ultimately killing its "prey". In my opinion, the family is at fault for seeing the snake several days prior to the incident and not calling animal control immediately to have the snake relocated. :thumb:
