Pikeville Panthers lost tonight to East Ridge. Pikeville went to the finals of the region last year with hopes of going to Rupp this year. They recently lost a starter for the rest of the season but being beaten by East Ridge in the first round of the district was a surprise to everyone except Warrior fans.

Good Win for the Villa program, but this was not an upset what at all this season. Villa defeated Ludlow 4 times this year.

Ill say Pendleton County over Harrison County. Harrison County was up 17 and blew the lead.

What about Seneca over Trinity?

Pendleton Co. over Harrison (at Harrison)

Cordia over Knott Co. Central (at KCC)

Trinity had 2 of their top 3 out. Depends on what you define upset I guess. I guess Seneca did lose a few from last year as well.

Chambliss was out with a back injury. Robey was out. I'm just getting this from the thread about the game, I'm not even from the Ville. I just know a little bit about their team.

Robey did not play all year due to his football signing. Sewell apparently missed the game with the flu. Chambless was injured in Trinity's game against J-town.

Probably not an upset, but anytime Warren Central gets beat in the district and doesn't compete for the 4th Region title it gets everyone's attention.

The Bowling Green Purples took them out of the 4th Region tournament picture for the 1st time in at least 7 years and maybe longer?? Not seeing a Tim Riley WC team in the Sweet Sixteen this year will be strange!!! Good luck to Greenwood, Barren County, Franklin-Simpson, Bowling Green or whoever comes out of the 4th. You have quite a tradition to uphold........
