Best golfer in the 12th.

Featured Replies

Flanery plays mostly AJGA events along with some Pepsi Tour.

Ian Danis played in Alabama recently and took 2nd place. I have seen Ian play and would think he will me a major contender in the 12th region, and probably in the state. He is also just a junior, plenty of upside for this young man.

Where is Ian Danis going to school?

He hasn't made a decision yet.

Where did he formerly attend school?

He is a junior at Montgomery Co. HS right now. Is that what you are asking??

I have seen Danis play. He is a very good golfer but not as good as Flanery.

I think with the addition of Montgomery and Danis to the 12th, this will be a lot of fun to watch. Sounds like any one of the three mentioned should challenge for the top golfer in the region. I hope they all work hard this summer, it will be competitive.

Flanery recently took 3rd place in the Junior State-Am while taking medalist honors in his age divison. He was also one of 8 or 10 kids selected for the Junior Kentucky All-Star team.

Ian Danis ranked 39th last year (NJGS), in Kentucky. Expecting a strong senior season this year. Should be right at the top in this region. Great kid great family also.
