XBOX 360 Problems

Featured Replies

Everyone that's having this problem when is it happening? Mine keeps on saying it in the middle of a game, particularly online. Usually it happens while the game is loading, it'll like click once, then say the game can't be read, and that I need to clean the disc and restart.

This has been going on for about a week or two now.

Send it in immediately! They should fix it for free. I believe the # is 18004MYXBOX or something. Just find it on XBox's website.

Turned it on last night and it worked but made an awful ticking sound.

I bought mine in early 06 and got the three year warranty, so I'm good for another year. I just hope if its going to tear up it does is soon. I have had no problems, but I do notice that sometimes it is loud. I really dont play it a ton though. I may play it once every couple of days for an hour or so, so I'm not really wearing it down. I can just see the day my warranty is up it would tear up...

You really need to call Microsoft, and send it in. It'll be hard to be without one for 4-6 weeks, but it'll be better when you get a refurbished one back.

Mine was doing the same thing about a month ago, now it's just doing the unreadable disc crap periodically. May call this week so I can send it off over spring break.

Overheating is the main cause for the unreadable disc.

Was seriously wondering about that myself, I had just recently bought a ceramic heater and it's right in front of and under my system. Which it's just started recently
