The ban says that a semi-automatic rifle that uses a detachable magazine is an AW if it has more than one attachment. The AR-15 on the bottom is not an AW, because it has only one attachment. Absurd. The attachments have nothing to do with crime. The mere shape of a grip? A flash suppressor? What a joke.

I'm not sure I know of anyone who needs a grenade launcher attached to their rifle for self defense. :lol: Your being closer to the issue is obvious but it also may skew your thoughts because of your clear bias. My glock will be legal no matter what candidate is elected. My rifles will be legal no matter what candidate is elected. I'm okay with that.

February 24, 200818 yr If they go for a ban of all semi-autos, no they won't................ And I'm telling you that will not happen. Too many hunters out there for that to happen. If a democrat does get elected, I'd say all that will happen is current laws will be enforced better and possibly strengthened a little. There will be no ban out right ban on semi-automatic weapons, and if there is, I will be completely and utterly shocked. But I really really doubt it will happen.
