Nice win for my Dawgs!!! :dancingpa

Holmes looks focused for the post-season. Beechwood is the first victim in their path.

Nice road win for Holmes to close out the regular season.

Henderson had a double double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Here's the rest of the boxscore:

Holmes- Henderson 17, Clark 16, R. Johnson 8, Nelson 8, Avery 5, J. Johnson 5, Humphrey 2, Pittman 2

Elizabethtown- Gohman 19, Boothlette 8, Pedigo 8, French 6, Goodman 4, Evans 2

Holmes- 20 12 12 19 63

Etwown- 13 20 9 4 46

Nice win for the Dawgs. Very impressive season 26-2. Now the real season begins. I look for the Dawgs to see Cov. Cath. twice before they can get to Rupp with Highlands being the only other possible team with a chance of up ending Holmes.

Holy Cross and New Cath may have a thing or two to say about whether the Dawgs meet the Colonels twice or the Birds once before the trip to Rupp.

Holmes beat HC by 19. Newcath has to get by a very good Highlands team.

Yes there have been upsets this year in the 9th but the cream of the crop will rise to the top come tourny time.

My point was Cov. Cath. has to get past Holy Cross before they will have the chance to meet the Dawgs once...or twice in the tourney. The Indians lept out 16-2 on the Colonels about 3 weeks ago in Latonia. But for the Colonels having a white hot night shooting 3's, H.C. would have won. As a loyal Cov. Cath. fan, I know better than to look past the Indians. They are a good team, are well coached and have a superstar who can drop a thirtysomething on you, any given night.

Agreed. On the flip side though, being a Holmes follower (as well as Highlands), I much rather see Holy Cross than Covcath.

After Holmes I thought Boone Co. had as good as chance as anyone else in the 9th?

Holmes beat Boone by 20. The only other threats to Holmes would be Highlands and CCH.
