That Joe is CLEARLY playing better? No stats needed, it's my opinion. Joe shows up for two or three games and disappears for two or three, he's done that since he's been at UK. If Jordan starts showing those qualities, perhaps my opinion will change.

I looked at Jordan's stats over the past 10 games and you must hold Joe to a different standard if you think Jordan is more consistent. His stats:

game 10 0-3, 4 pts, 3 TO, 3 reb

game 9 5-10, 12 pts, 3 TO, 5 reb

game 8 1-3, 2 pts, 1 TO, 2 reb

game 7 3-10, 8 pts, 0 TO, 6 reb

game 6 7-13, 18 pts, 2 TO, 2 reb

game 5 0-0, 0 pts, 0 TO, 0 reb

game 4 0-4, 2 pts, 1 TO, 2 reb

game 3 4-8, 10 pts, 0 TO, 0 reb

game 2 2-5, 5 pts, 0 TO, 2 reb

game 1 0-2 0 pts, 1 TO, 0 reb

game 5

Joe is a Senior... Jordan is a Frosh. Yeah, I hold Joe to a slightly different standard. And as far as "game 5" goes...Im assuming you're referring to the Northwestern game...He played two minutes....

Regardless, pretty inconsistent. You hold Joe to a higher standard but say Jordan is better right now? I'm confused.

Well, when IU and UK played, Jordan had 20, Joe had 10, and they were guarding each other for the majority of the game...That has a little bit to do with my opinion also...

Jordan's better (clap clap clap-clap-clap.)

Top 3 best cheers of the year.

I admit, that was pretty good.

Maybe I should show them the stats as well :D

That may factor in a tiny amount. Not nearly enough to give him the edge IMO.

That was one game, early in the year. Jordan has shot 35.8% over his last 12 games, I'm not sure what Joe has shot, but I'm sure that it is much higher than that............which leads to my conclusion that Joe is better at this point in time, not at one game back in Dec. when Joe was injured and Jordan was well rested.

A head-to-head match-up is only a tiny factor in deciding who's better?

In a 30+ game season with a million different variables... yes.

So the argument has gone from... "Joe's too inconsistent" (proven wrong).. then we had.. "Jordan's only a freshman" (contradicts early post)... and finally "Jordan scored more when they played each other." Good stuff.

How about this...Since you'll never concede that anything non-UK is better than anything UK, we'll wait a couple years and see what it looks like then. Deal?

Not true at all. UL is light years ahead of UK's basketball team right now. Sorry for proving your arguments against Joe wrong.

Jordan is better rounded, and a better defender. They shoot comparable percentages (Joe better overall, Jordan better from 3) although Joe gets a better PPS because a smaller percentage of his shots are threes. And Joe of course has those fewer minutes.

I'd take Jordan.

Joe shoots 3's on 43.9% of his FG attempts while Jordan shoots 3's on 30.6% of his FG attempts.
