Grant Co. 73 Gallatin Co. 57

You can scratch officials but that usually don't amount to a hill of beans.

If that was the case, Watkins would never officiate another game. I know several coach's have scratched him. Was he one of them for tonight game?

Did Grant play zone all night?

Yes he was along with Booth, still no excuses. Played zone almost all of the game.

Somebody had told me that Coach Jones has never won vs. Grant County when they play @ Grant County.:scared::confused:

Congrats to the Braves & Coach Kinmon, hopefully they play Simon Kenton in the first round of districts.

Jon Jones will use this one as motivation for post season play. This is not his first rodeo.

Congrats to Coach Kinman and his Braves. I guess he is back to full strength now.

I agree. Jon Jones is too good of a coach to let this opportunity pass. This game was a much bigger game for Grant than it was for Gallatin. Things have changed a lot over the years since Coach Jones came to Gallatin.

Gallatin was in the lead in the first quarter when Grant was in man and Kinmon changed it up with a 1-3-1 and a 2-3 and Gallatin seemed like they have never seen a zone before. They started to settle for 3's and Grant slowly built up their lead.

I think that only amounts to 3 games. I don't think the schools played for about 7 years starting in 1999.

I don't think he was happy with the officiating crew tonight! I believe he had scratched a couple of them!

Grant also has one of them scratched.

That was one of the worst officiating crews I have ever seen. Watkins is absolutly horrible.

Congratulations to the Braves and especially to coach Kidman. What a show he put on tonight...

I thought there had to be a good reason, Coach Jones is to talented of a coach to not being able to get a win at his Alma Mater.

Super job Braves. I was really impressed with the way the braves ran the floor and hit the open man and did not force many shots. Thompson was the man hittng free throws and making great passes. Sean Henry played stellar on both ends and if they keep this up it could mean trouble for the other teams in the district that appear to be struggling as of late.

I totally agree with this statement. I don't think SK or Walton want to face Grant at Grant in the district semi-finals. It could mean SK's or Walton's season might be over early in the post season.

Getting a little ahead of yourselves aren't you? First off they have to continue to play at the level they did last night, and have the same horrible referee crew as last night.

Even though Grant beat Gallatin by 16points, they are not a "better" team, in my humble opinion. Grant played well, and though I am not a follower of their team, I have to think it was maybe the best game they played all year. Parlay that performance with a very poor performance (give Grant credit here) from Gallatin, and you have a er a 16pt win over a team that honestly should have beaten them by 20+.

Nah, I got it right. I mentioned in my post that he put on quite a show... acted like a 4 year old throwing a tantrum until he got his way. IMO he intimidated the referee's to the point that it definitely changed the game. I sat behind his bench in ear shot of most everything he was saying... I sure hope he doesn't kiss his wife with that mouth.

Wow, your kinda sour about Gallatin losing huh? But "kidman" wasn't the one getting a technical, your Head Coach Jonathan Jones did however, who through a tantrum?
