Game was close early but then SK really struggled against the SC zone. I was expecting a exciting game but it really didn't go that way. (Maybe Shelby lauled everybody to sleep by not getting to SK until about 7:30.) Game went really quick. There were only a handful of fouls called in the first half and SK spent a lot of time passing the ball around the perimeter and not penetrating the zone.

My feeling is the injuries have taken a toll on SK and the team really seemed to miss Ponzer tonight who looks like he has a bad ankle injury.

IMO: It's the SK players fault for not doing it and the coaches not pushing the players to do it. But this has been a constant the entire season.

I hope Sk can find a point guard with Nate out. Without one it's going to be a long for months... Sk played a better stall ball than Shelby did, I don't understand that one bit..

 He could be out a month, but probably no longer than that, besides the season is over way before four months.

Shelby gave SK fits with their 2-3 zone but then again SK didn't exactly execute against the zone well. Seemed like they just wanted to pass the ball around the perimeter instead of penetrating the gaps. The result was a bunch of turnovers and deflections for the Rocket defense. Overall I liked what I saw from Shelby, they have a nice combination of players with solid guard play and some athletic length in the paint.
