CovCath shoots 47% from the floor but shoots a poor 45% from the free throw line to squeak out a victory over NCC.

Chirs Bondick back for his second game of the year, leads the Colonels with 17 points and cans three of the last four points from the free throw line to win this game.

Stats for the game

For those who care, both the CovCath vs Holmes JV at 1:00 pm, followed by the CovCath vs. HHS freshmen games will be broadcast live on CovCath Internet Radio Saturday afternoon.

Lifelong Colonels fan, but when the scrappy point guard -Pangello (5 ' 7" ?) who had canned 2 clutch 3's, had the ball in his hands down three with about 8 seconds left, I was pulling for him to nail it. And, how the heck many Geisler's are on their team? Great effort by New. Cath. Cov. Cath was lucky to escape with the W.

Question for those CCH fans in the know, is this CCH team getting better as the year goes on? It seems to me from the scores that this team seems to play up or down to the level of competition that they are playing.

I reckon you have to include NCC as one of the teams in the mix to be there at the end. The 36th district tourney against HHS should be a barn-burner!

I think losing Bondick to injury threw off the rotation pattern somewhat and now working him back in is having the same effect. I wouldn't say they have gotten significantly better since the start of the season, but there are some big games coming up (districts and, hopefully, regionals) that will define the season much better than a regular season game with NewCath (although it's always nice to beat the Breds). I'd rather peak in March than now.
