The thread topic is "Greatest Teams of all time." That means we aren't arguing number one but the group that #1 would be a part of. Now Toothpick has said it's not debate. I wouldn't go that far but I do think he raises the statistical issues that include the Dolphins in the debate.

Went back to see some stats on the '06 Colts.

 

They had 4 losses in the regular season. Do we really include a 4 loss team in the discussion?

 

They were 2nd in Team Offense and Scoring

 

They were 23rd in Team Defense

 

 

Now in '72, Miami was:

 

First in Team Offense and Scoring

 

First in Team Defense and Points Allowed.

 

 

 

Which of these teams seems to be in a logical discussion about Greatest Ever?
