Perry Central Basketball

Featured Replies

I have heard that Coach Whitaker's demands were too much for Perry Centrals pocket books, but if hind sight is 20/20, I'm positive that they would go back and give him anything that he asked for to get the talent that those 2 young kids have.

Alright people here is the DEAL!!!!! Al Holland is a great coach there is no doubt about that!!!!!!! Here is the other deal if you think Allan Hatcher is not a GREAT COACH YOU ARE A FOOL!!!! And if you think anybody is telling that man how to coach or who to play you are a STRAIGHT FOOL!! He is a great coach and a very hard worker, ask any bball coach in western Kentucky they were glad to see him go because he was the best coach down there period cut... The coach can't shoot it for them, he can't go to the free throw line for them. Come watch Perry Central play, there are as good a coached team as there is, BUT THE COACH CAN'T PLAY FOR THEM. The man has won a state title in West Virginia, takin Graves and Marshall Co. to the final 4. If you give Allan Hatcher the talent that Hazard has I would beat my house he would be winning and if you don't think that is true you no nothing about the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can't agrue with the mans success, look it up, see it, read it, study it, and then if you come on this thing and try and dispute that you are a fool!!!!

Big win for PCC last night as they beat JBS 58-44. This was a much needed win for the Commodores. Big for the players and even bigger for the coaching staff. Congrats and good luck the rest of the season.

No, not a chance. He is gone for good this time. Him and Coach Hatcher just didn't mesh too well together, so they ended the relationship.

He's playing against Breathitt right now.... PCC is up 21-13 at the half.

My bad, the radio called him John but I think it's Jordon.

Another needed win for PCC. They seem to be gaining more confidence each game.

Yeah, Jordan Amis still plays, but John did not play last night.

It has been said that Jordan Amis has now quit the team. Is there any truth to this?

I hope not. Jordan is a great kid who will what any coach asks. He is great to have on any team. I am hoping this is just a rumor.

Why would people be quitting the team now, just when it appears Perry Central has turned the corner and is playing much better?

They have had players quit throughout the season. I don't know the reason. From what I am gathering though, people are getting Jordan mixed up with his brother John who did quit a week or so ago. To me Jordan isn't the type of kid to quit. But, I do agree that it seems PCC has turned the corner. They are starting to put their name in the mix as a region contender.

I'll go out on a limb and say that if they would of quit early last year then Coach Hollon would still be at PCC. Just My Thoughts on that one.;)
