I get so tired reading this. How do you all figure since they get the same officials on the road that they get at home?? Swift doesn't assign the officials, Darrell Smith does. This is not Ohio.

I think to Tomcats pull this one out.

 

I'd love to see Raceland win it but I think Ashland pulls it together and has a nice game.

Raceland can and will go 8-9 deep, Coach Floyd has no fear about foul trouble so he presses from the tip.If Sparks or Boyles get in foul trouble it hurts the Rams,but doesn't kill them, while if Thomas gets in foul trouble it could get ugly IMO// Raceland usually shoots lights out at home like most teams, I have no idea how much it hurts Ashland not having Rowe and Scaggs but it sure doesn't help. Raceland is fine tuning now for what they hope is a long run in the post season and the way the 64th is stacking up Ashland is looking at a free for all against Fairview in the 1st round. also if I'm not mistaken Ashland has GRC Friday night before the Raceland game, another real tough game. I am excited about this game. I think there will be a big crowd, and an exciting game to watch. I have been really disappointed with the crowds at basketball games this year. Raceland's crowd has been decent, but not as big as in years past. And, the teams that Raceland has played has been very small. I have been to games this year that the opposing team had, literally, 10-15 fans at the game. I am not talking about far away opponents, I am talking about teams that are less then a hour away.

 

This game should be a refreshing change. I am looking forward to it.

After last nights loss, the Tomcats will come into the Palace hungry for the win. The Rams will see two of the regions better defensive players in Thomas and Coleman so taking care of the basketball will be a key for the Rams.

As mentioned, the Rams shoot well at home and have some great defensive players and a very balanced offense. Coach Floyd and the Rams continue to work hard in preparation for district play so I like the Rams chances in this one.

Yes Raceland has won some games but it was hardly in a dominating fashion. The trend should continue with this game.
