Meet the Rams went well tonight. Tyler Boyles played well at qb Robbie Logan did very well also. The question mark that I have so far for this team is the secondary(cb,safety) looked good at times but still need a little work. I believe they will be ready in time for the Ashland game. I have some other issues will see if anybody else has anything to say first. I forgot Denton was a force also tonight some other that stood out was Mike Litteral and John-Scott Caver Austin Johnson played well also so did Justin Ratcliff.

^ Thanks for the update CL, I am sure that Coach "Hoof" wasn't going to show a lot, same as with the upcoming scrimmages.

 

Next week = scrimmage at Johnson Central

8/22 = Grid o Rama = scrimmage vs. Morgan Co.

21 days to another Raceland Football Season!!!

It's hard to make an adequate evaluation with the starters split up into two squads, but I do think that the starters looked good. The offensive and defensive lines look to be big and strong. Both Denton and Carver looked good. I agree that the secondary still is rusty and can really benefit from the two upcoming scrimmages.

 

There was a very good crowd for the opening of the Raceland season, I think a lot of people are excited to get the season going.

 

I would also like to thank the officials who were there, they did a great job of preparing the team for the season and keeping the fans informed. I love having a ref mic, it makes it so much easier to know what is going on.
