gold sunrise
GRC travels to Dixie Heights Thursday the 31th. How do you see this game matching up? Someone clue me in on the 9th region officials. Do they let you play physical? If not the Cards may get into early foul trouble. Here in the 10th most will let you play. The 9th region refrees like to control the action.

This is what I was thinking too. What does Dixie Heights have....players to watch for, type of game they play ect.
casual observer
GRC is too fast for Dixie to set up Mace.GRC by 12.
racer4life
I would say they will have no trouble with Dixie, but I said that about Rowan County and was a little off so I will just say Clark by 10.

SirMixAlot
This is what I was thinking too. What does Dixie Heights have....players to watch for, type of game they play ect. They have a 6'8 center in Luke Mace, they are more of a half court team, they have a pretty good guard in Carter, a good shooter in Lawson. There best player is Kendall, he is a 6'4 forward who has good ball handling skills. If you slow him down, more often then not you beat Dixie. If Dixie plays their tempo, they will give a lot of teams fits, and GRC fits the mold this year of a lot of teams.
luvthemraiders
GRC will have their hands full on the road with Dixie and am sure they are not going in expecting to have "no trouble". I expect a very good and close game that could go either way. Worth the trip for people from Clark Co.
nkysportslegend
I think GRC takes this one by around 12, their athleticism will be too much for Dixie.
mcpapa
If the game does not use BGC officials, look for a closer-called game than what 10th region teams are accustomed to. I've only caught one half of a Dixie game and that was against (I think) Barren County, who had their way with Dixie in one of the LexCath tourney consolation round games. I look for Clark to win in a close one. I like Slink's prediction.

We have depth, but we also play alot of players, some who are young and not with much experience. I feel this will be a tuff road game for the Cards, just hope they can come out with the win. This is why the 9th Region usually has an early exit in the Sweet 16 due to the way games are called obviously. Unless you are Holmes and just have exceptional speed and talent then you can usually advance. I really would like to see the 9th Region be called a little more like many other regions and let the guys play a little.
